Cambridge International Examinations is part of the University of Cambridge and is the world’s largest provider of international education programmes and qualifications for 5 to 19 year olds. The University of Cambridge itself is one of the oldest universities, regularly ranked among the best in a number of global league tables.
Project scope
Today Translations was commissioned by Cambridge International Examinations to translate a series of test papers for various disciplines, including mathematics and science. As these tests would be sat by thousands of young people the world over, security was of the highest priority to ensure that no materials could possibly be leaked.
This influenced Today Translations’ decision to obtain independent verification of its secure systems through ISO27001 information security certification, as robust security measures are becoming more sought after by organisations wanting to know that their supply chain is secure and does not expose them to unnecessary risk.
Today Translations also translated a (successful) 25,000-word tender proposal into Arabic for one of Cambridges partner institutions in the Middle East.
