Daniel J Edelman is a leading public relations agency, with 66 offices located around the world. Its branch in London has been a regular client of Today Translations since 2009.
Scope
In the run up to the 2010 World Cup in South Africa, one of Edelman’s major clients – a leading sports brand that sponsors a number of players and national teams, released a series of marketing materials which were to be translated from English into French and Spanish.
Challenge
The project was lengthy: the English version consisted of almost 25,000 words. It included the profile and history of a number of national teams, interviews with renowned stars, new product ranges and strategic partnership with the charitable organisations working in Africa.
Result
Since then, Today Translations has provided language services for Edelman on a regular basis. The most recent project includes the translating and localising of the marketing materials for a famous brand of scotch whiskey, which plans to release a dedicated iPhone application.
