Sony Pictures Europe is the entertainment subsidiary of the Japanese multinational technology and media conglomerate. Since 2010, Today Translations has translated a number of marketing materials for the company’s upcoming cinema releases.

Project scope
Sony Pictures Europe has been one of Today Translations’ regular clients since 2010. One of the client’s regular translation requirements we undertake is a series of website translations. The content generally focuses on the production studio’s upcoming cinema releases while the websites often include a variety of interactive and dynamic tools.

Target languages varied greatly, starting with Latin American Spanish and ending with Korean. To facilitate the project for the client, Today Translations delivered the translations within the same HTML format. All offline HTML web pages were the further proofread by a second team of independent linguists, ensuring that the text displayed correctly without overflows and that the translation was accurate.
