    Great Ideas Produce Great Results

Some people will tell you there’s only one way to do a translation, the same way it’s always been done by everyone. This doesn’t wash with visionaries who know you have to do things differently to get a great result that’s better than everyone else. We believe this too, and that’s why we work with clients to find new, smarter ways to make sure language produces the successful results that clients want and can measure.

Our Fresh Thinking Partnership, is a collaborative approach that concentrates on the outcome the client wants from translated content. It identifies the obvious and less obvious barriers to accomplishing the ideal result and then devises and tests a medley of innovative ways to compose perfect multilingual content. This ingenious approach has seen us create API’s and new technology to streamline website translation workflows; conduct multilingual market research, and generate completely original material using Emoji and other unusual languages.

The results give clients a competitive advantage by making their translated material superior to others and more attractive to readers. It can also save them a lot of time and money. Below are some examples of how our clients have profited from this creative, consultative approach to translation. If you’d like to be part of a Fresh Thinking Partnership, please give us a call.

    Custom API Development

A major global manufacturing corporation contracted Today Translations to deliver several localised versions of one of their websites for the European market.

Rather than simply provide translated text, Today Translations built a custom application programming interface (API) for the client, to integrate with their website content management system (CMS). The module allows for automatic extraction of their entire English content and facilitates the import of translations via the click of a button within their CMS. It also provided the customer with full control over the way the content is managed.

This solution was not only convenient for the client, but by reducing their dependency on third-parties, Today Translations saved them a total of £250,000 over 2 years.

    CAD-trained Linguists

A multinational oilfield services won a multimillion-dollar contract to support the expansion of an oilfield in Central Asia. As their design team were not fluent in the local languages, they required a massive amount of documentation and designs translated into Russian and Kazakh.

Today Translations sourced a specialist team of bilingual engineers not only familiar with the subject matter, but also the CAD software used to create the drawings. By working directly in the software, this eliminated the hassle of any content export/import and the potential for error in such processes.

    Key Data Extraction and Translation

A global fashion brand required information from the leases of their Japanese and Chinese retail outlets for the purposes of internal auditing and regulatory compliance in the country in which the company is headquartered. Due to the brand’s popularity, the total page count for the leases of their many Asian stores numbered in the thousands.

The brand contracted Today Translations to carry out AMLiss™ using highly-qualified linguists with relevant sector experience to review the leases in the original languages. Our experts were tasked to identify and abstract key information into standardised forms, in English.

This innovative procedure provided the client with savings of 90% versus translating the entire leases and saving them the time they would otherwise need to read and abstract the relevant information from translated documents.

The process also reduced the turnaround time for the project from weeks to days.

    White Label Outsourcing

Faced with an increasing demand for translation and limited internal resources, a large legal firm contacted Today Translations to provide a more time- and cost-efficient translations process to its clients while maintaining the long-standing relationships with them.

Today Translations works with the company’s clients to provide translations faster and more efficiently, and at a lower cost to the firm.

Hiring the World’s First Emoji Interpreter
