Today Translations’ founder and MD, Jurga Zilinskiene, and advisory board member, David Clarke, were honoured to be invited to the Mane Chance Sanctuary fundraiser at Koffmann’s restaurant in Knightsbridge, London, this week.
This wonderful charity cares for ill, abused and abandoned horses and animals, providing shelter, rehabilitation, rehoming and long-term care. Mane Chance Sanctuary managed to raise £150,000 on the night – a great sum courtesy of a fantastic effort.
Famous names with an affection for mares and steeds also attended the fundraising event. The evening was hosted by leading film and West End theatre producer Bill Kenwright and actress Jenny Seagrove. Sophie Christiansen, British equestrian and 2012 Paralympic gold medallist, was the starlet of the evening with a passionate and inspirational address to the guests. Other big-ticket guests and supporters included Hugh Grant, Ronnie O’Sullivan and Arsenal FC manager Arsène Wenger.
The fundraiser was everything it should be: guests came, dined and emptied their pockets. At Today Translations, we’re honoured to be associated the Mane Chance Sanctuary charity and wish them all the best in giving neglected and abused animals a home and a better life.
